Andrea Sullivan

I believe healing begins when people feel safe, understood, and not judged for what they are going through. Even when life feels chaotic or out of control, growth is still possible, and support can make all the difference in helping someone find their way forward.

Hey, I’m Andrea!

Do you feel like your emotions have become overwhelming? Are anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance use making it difficult to get through the day, maintain relationships, or feel like yourself again? Do you feel exhausted from constantly trying to cope, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or wondering if things will ever get better? If you're ready for change but aren't sure where to start, you're not alone. believe healing is possible, even when life feels unmanageable. I provide individual counseling for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, emotional crises, and major life transitions.

I begin by creating a safe, supportive space where we can explore your experiences, understand what's contributing to your current struggles, and identify what you want your future to look like. Together, we'll develop practical coping skills, build emotional resilience, and create lasting change using evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, and MI.

I strive to be the “calm in your storm” for those who feel overwhelmed, emotionally dysregulated, or stuck in crisis. Together, we work to bring clarity to chaos, develop practical coping strategies, and build emotional stability using evidence-based approaches. When you're ready, I look forward to supporting you—book easily with me online to begin.

My background & approach

I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, which means I have completed my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am currently accruing the supervised clinical hours required for full licensure in Florida. This stage of my career allows me to provide therapy while continuing to deepen my training and experience under clinical supervision, ensuring high-quality and ethical care.

Although I am still in the process of full licensure, I bring over four years of hands-on experience in the mental health field. My background includes working in crisis stabilization, inpatient behavioral health, community mental health, and substance use treatment settings. In these roles, I have supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional crises, and co-occurring substance use concerns.

This combination of advanced education, supervised clinical practice, and real-world experience has allowed me to develop a strong foundation in evidence-based care and crisis intervention. I am committed to meeting clients where they are, providing compassionate support, and helping them build the skills needed to create meaningful and lasting change.
