You are not too much—and you do not have to keep managing everything alone.

Hello, I’m Jenn!

Maybe you have been called too sensitive, dramatic, unmotivated, impulsive, or difficult. You may look capable on the outside while privately struggling with intense emotions, racing thoughts, relationship conflict, shame, or the constant feeling that you are falling behind. For teens, this can show up as school stress, identity concerns, family conflict, social pressure, or feeling misunderstood. For women, it may look like carrying everyone else’s needs while quietly feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted.

Therapy can be a place to put down those labels and begin understanding what is happening beneath the surface. You deserve support that looks beyond your symptoms and recognizes the whole person behind them.

I work with teens and adult women navigating ADHD, emotional dysregulation, Borderline Personality Disorder, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, and substance-use or recovery challenges. I am also committed to providing affirming therapy for LGBTQIA+ clients. Whether you are trying to understand intense emotions, improve your relationships, manage impulsive behaviors, explore your identity, or change your relationship with substances, you will be met with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment.

You can expect compassion without passivity. I will take your experiences seriously, help you recognize patterns, and respectfully challenge you when doing so may support your growth. For teens, I strive to create a space where you can feel heard while also building skills that support greater confidence and stability. For women, therapy can offer room to reconnect with yourself, understand your needs, and move beyond patterns that no longer serve you.

Therapy is not about forcing you to become a different person. It is about helping you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and create a life that feels more stable, authentic, and meaningful.

You do not need to have the right words or a perfectly defined goal before beginning. We can start with what is hurting, what is no longer working, and what you hope might feel different.

My Background & Approach

I have met all the requirements by the Florida Board of Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, and Marriage and Family therapy to become a fully Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I am Patiently awaiting my license to be approved, but sometimes the government can move a little slowly! So I am technically still a registered intern.

My approach is collaborative, relational, and practical. I draw heavily from Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy while also integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered care. Together, we may work on managing overwhelming emotions, responding differently to urges, improving communication, building healthier boundaries, developing more sustainable routines, and making choices that reflect your values.
