“You’re not broken because your emotions are big, your brain moves fast, or change feels complicated.”
Hello, I’m Jenn!
Maybe you have been called too sensitive, dramatic, unmotivated, impulsive, or difficult. You may look capable on the outside while privately struggling with intense emotions, racing thoughts, anxiety, relationship conflict, shame, or the constant feeling that you are falling behind. You might be navigating a major life transition, questioning your relationship with substances, or wondering why the same painful patterns keep showing up no matter how hard you try to change them.
Therapy can be a place to put those labels down and begin understanding what is happening beneath the surface. You deserve support that looks beyond your symptoms and recognizes the whole person behind them.
I work with adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, life transitions, Borderline Personality Disorder, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, and substance-use or recovery concerns. I am also committed to providing affirming therapy for LGBTQIA+ clients. Whether you are trying to understand intense emotions, improve your relationships, manage impulsive behaviors, build healthier routines, cope with uncertainty, or change your relationship with substances, you will be met with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment.
My Background & Approach
My approach is collaborative, relational, and practical. I draw heavily from Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy while also integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered care. Together, we may work on managing overwhelming emotions, responding differently to urges, improving communication, building healthier boundaries, developing more sustainable routines, and making choices that reflect your values.
You can expect compassion without passivity. I will take your experiences seriously, help you recognize patterns, and respectfully challenge you when doing so may support your growth. Therapy can offer room to reconnect with yourself, better understand your needs, strengthen your coping skills, and move beyond patterns that no longer serve you.
Therapy is not about forcing you to become a different person. It is about helping you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and create a life that feels more stable, authentic, and meaningful.
You do not need to have the right words or a perfectly defined goal before beginning. We can start with what is hurting, what is no longer working, and what you hope might feel different.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) can help you manage intense emotions, respond differently when you feel overwhelmed, and build healthier ways of coping. You may also learn skills for setting boundaries, improving communication, and navigating conflict without feeling completely consumed by it.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help you make space for difficult thoughts and feelings without letting them dictate your choices. Together, we can explore what matters most to you and help you move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. We may work on identifying patterns that keep you feeling stuck and developing more balanced, helpful ways of responding.
Motivational Interviewing can support you when part of you wants change and another part feels unsure, afraid, or not ready. Rather than pushing you, I will help you explore your own reasons for change and decide what feels realistic for you.
Person-Centered Care means that therapy is shaped around your needs, goals, identity, and lived experience. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to offer support, insight, and guidance in a way that helps you feel heard, respected, and understood.
