I believe every person is capable of growth and change.

Hey, I’m Zuzanna!

I am a Master of Science student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am currently in my clinical year of internship. I am completing my graduate training under supervision at Therapy by the Bay and will begin accepting clients in April 2026.

I hold a Master of Science in Athletic Training Practice from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Barry University. I am bilingual in English and Polish.

My background & approach

Before entering the counseling field, I worked as an athletic trainer, coach, and performance specialist. Through that work, I supported individuals navigating injury, recovery, high expectations, and performance-related stress. Those experiences shaped my interest in the emotional and psychological factors that can interfere with well-being and day-to-day functioning.

My clinical interests include working with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and phobias. I am especially interested in helping clients understand how anxiety shows up both mentally and physically, and in supporting them as they build confidence, flexibility, and effective coping strategies over time.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy and active listening. I aim to create a space that feels calm, respectful, and human—where you can explore challenges at your own pace and feel supported throughout the process. I work closely with my supervisor to ensure care is thoughtful, ethical, and aligned with your goals.
