Nikki Goins, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social WORKer in texas & florida
I believe healing begins when you feel safe enough to be honest about what you are carrying — without shame, judgment, or pressure to have it all figured out.
Hi, I’m Nikki, and I work with women navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, and substance use or recovery-related challenges. I know that when you are struggling, even getting through the day can feel exhausting. You may feel stuck in patterns you do not fully understand, overwhelmed by thoughts that will not quiet down, or disconnected from the person you used to be.
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, eating disorders, or substance use challenges that affect your relationships, self-esteem, daily functioning, or overall quality of life? Do you feel exhausted by the pressure of simply getting through the day, managing overwhelming emotions, or trying to meet expectations that never seem attainable? Do you find yourself wondering if life could feel more manageable, meaningful, and fulfilling?
You are not alone here.
My Background & Approach
My clinical work is centered around supporting women who are healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, and substance use challenges. Many of the clients I work with are carrying more than one struggle at a time — emotional pain, shame, fear, exhaustion, and the pressure to keep functioning even when things feel overwhelming.
I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. My goal is not to judge you, rush you, or tell you who you should be. Instead, I want to understand your story, help you make sense of the patterns that have kept you feeling stuck, and support you in building tools that actually fit your life.
I draw from Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I also have extensive experience in the substance abuse field, which allows me to support clients navigating recovery, relapse concerns, shame, trauma, and the complicated emotions that often come with substance use. I am also interested in pursuing additional certification in Exposure and Response Prevention therapy to further support clients experiencing OCD.
In therapy with me, you can expect:
A safe, supportive space where you can be honest about what you are going through
Thoughtful listening without judgment or shame
Support in understanding how trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, eating concerns, or substance use may be impacting your life
Practical coping skills rooted in evidence-based treatment
Compassionate exploration of patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck
A collaborative approach that helps you move toward healing, self-trust, and meaningful change
Trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, and recovery challenges can affect the way you see yourself, relate to others, and move through the world. Therapy can be a place to slow down, feel supported, and begin rebuilding a sense of safety, clarity, and connection with yourself.
You deserve a place where your story matters, your history is taken seriously, and you do not have to carry everything alone. I would be honored to support you as you take the next step toward healing.
